I recently fouled my spark plugs, I am in the process of changing them. But people are telling me I should change my oil too because it may have gas in it??? Does it matter??

Depends on how flooded it was. You could just give the oil a sniff and see if it smells of gas. Either way, it can't hurt. You could skip the oil filter if it's not too old.

There's about 10,500 km on the filter, is it ok to use regular automobile 0w-30 in her instead of yamalube?

Yeah. I think you're due for a new filter
You should go with a good synthetic. I've had great results with Mobil1 0w40 European formula.
