Anyone ever have the caps on the valve stems not come off? Ive ben trying to get them off without damaging them but I think i'm gonna have to cut them off somehow.
VERY GENTLY....... duck tape or protection of a good kind with plyers.... they should come off.... but again... just enough force to get them cracked free.... the threads get corroded sometimes.... garanteed your prob. i put a small dab of anti-seize when i put them back on. especially if your not planning on playing with the pressures all the time.
Once you get them off replace with tpms style caps. not sure of all manufacuters but honda had this problem with tpms valve stems on the automotive side and replaced with plastic caps wit a oring in the cap. threads on fine and no more stuck caps or damage to threads.
