freeride track

How is this track on hardpack?? I'm looking for a replacement track for my apex rtx. Are the lugs soft like the intense or stiffer like a ripsaw. I know its an inch skinnier than the intense but was looking for a good all around track with more bite in the soft stuff than a ripsaw. Others say the paddles on the intense are too soft and tend to fold over on hardpack instead of digging in. Opinions please??

The lugs are extremely hard & work well on hardpack snow. I ran one on my turbo RX-1 & was amazed how well it hooked even at 12 pounds boost.Another bud runs one on his 06 1000 doo renegade. Amazing hook up!The lugs bite thru hard pack & away u go. All the intense tracks I have personally witnessed don,t cut it on hard snow; the lugs are too soft; don,t bite in & fold over. I will be putting the Free ride on my 08 Nytro.

Is there a noticeable difference since their an inch skinnier than other tracks?? The reason I ask is If I swap out my ripsaw for one of these, will it still be much better off trail since its more narrow than the rip?? Thanks for the help.

I meant intense tracks fold over on real hard snow. I fixed my post. I was om about my 4th rum. I personally don,t think the 1" makes a huge diff off trail.

Thanks, I may end up with that track next year then.
