from warrior to 09 vector ltx

DEUCE push in corners??? you must have to much transfer and not enough ski pressure, I love my DEUCE bars, I left my transfer to stock setting and shorten my limiter by 1 hole and run my rear shock 4 from soft and she rails in corners...[/quote]

I tightened my limiter one hole and have the rear skid set up for minimal transfer and yes they still push in the corners.

hey guys,
just enjoying reading along on this thread. congrats on the new sled pat the rat! i actually just picked up an 09 vector ltx gt myself. haven't had a chance to ride it yet (i'm dying too!). my question is regarding the shortening of the limiter strap. is this something EVERYONE shoud JUST DO right of the bat? i also am a pure trail rider (with limited off trail riding). i'm a skinny 6ft 155 pounder. also...what do you mean by 'lossening' the front end?
thanks,
peter
Welcome to the site Peter! You are going to love that new sled! is that you in the picture? If so, are you home and going to be able to ride this winter? where are you from? Maybe you should try and make a TY ride if you are in the midwest!
Thanks for serving our country!!

hey sled head,
that is me in the picture, however, i was serving my country in a slightly different way then you may think. i basically have 2 (almost full time jobs). i am a musician (i travel alot). on my 'off days' i have a very small house painting business (me) for extra dough. playing in a band alone doesn't quite cut it! anyhow, the band i play in has done many tours for the military playing for our troops over seas. that particular pic is me on a base in kuwait. 'camp virginia', (it rests right on the border of iraq) it is where all the troops stop first to get in and out of iraq. they are really greatful to have a 'piece of home' come to them. and we are greatful to do it! while staying at the base the troops are very hospitable and let us 'play' with there stuff! :die
as for the ty ride....yes! i would love to! i live in Grayslake, IL. my brother owns a nice farm house on 53 acres in hurley (which he rents out by the way!). anyhow, i usually make that my 'home base' for riding. i am sorry, don't mean to hijack this thread.
i did have a question for pat the rat, i was wondering if his sled is darting all over like we so often read? or has it been fine? my first opportunity to ride my beautiful new sled will be dec 20th! i'm comin' up! and i can hardly stand the wait!
thanks,
peter
