Anyone install Ulmers Front End Bushing Kit? How has it performed? Did it tighten up the steering?
My steering is very loose and in need of attention. Was looking to install Ulmers kit.
Thanks,
Kevin

If Ulmer sells it then it flat works as intended ! This
we can assure you ! You can trust this man period !
If your not happy it will be a first ! Have not heard any complaints about anything they sell !
Any bushing kit will tighten up your steering if its that loose !
Let us know how it works if you do go that way ?

I installed the bushing kit a few weeks ago. Doesn't tighten the steering, just tightens the A-arms. You will still have play in your steering linkage.
Put in the ulmer kit in nov before the season and it really tightened up the a arms but not the steering.Great kit.4234 miles so far on my 07 er.

super thrilled and impressed with the Ulmer oilite bushing kit.
maybe 60% better on steering slop, 100% on a arm slop

Any ideas on how to tighten the steering column. I have approx a couple of inches on way or the other of play in my steering.
Would the problem be around the Holder / Steering Bearing or the Univeral Joint?
Thanks,
Kevin
