Making a panel for my front hole in the tunnel i just wanted to know if anyone has installed a closer panel or can measure one and tell me the size to make it.

I'm sure when you take off the seat, tank, exhaust and upper frame you will see the size you need. Its got a weird shape but just cover it with a square piece. Other than that you can look up from the bottom! ;):D

Just measure the width between where sides meet top of tunnel and for length estimate long since you have to take tank and shields off to install it you probably wont get any answers.I should have measured when I did mine. Not thinking.Sorry.

When your in there check the manifolds and donuts along with that fibre shield.I also cut the sides off the shield with rubber on both sides to get some air flowing under there.Newer sleds with plastic shields they should probably be removed.Goal is to try to get as much air flowing under there as possible. No issues in 2 seasons and ended ice issues 100%.

When I made mine I drilled several .75" holes so that area could get a little more cooling. Im almost thinking of drilling more. When my sled idles the seat frame near your legs gets really hot and worries me the tank is above that. When I get moving it cools right down. I checked all my exhaust fittings and everything is in tact. just an idea

I know that i can measure the tunnel but my sleds at my cabin and i have to fab up the part now thats why i wanted to know. Schmidt Bros reccomends you drill 6 1 inch holes in the plastic cover panels in case anyone wants to know thats for 2008's

Its 11 1/4in. wide.I cant see how long but its around 24in. I would get a piece 30in long and cut the length when you are up there.Sorry best I can do without taking it all apart.
