Hi all. So I'm new to the nytro. I am coming off a 98 vmax. So I finally got my 2009 nytro out for a first ride yesterday. I love it but I think maybe I have a bad left front shock. When I was messing around a little bit when I would turn to the right all of a sudden the sled would just tip over. I was only going a couple miles an hour to turn around and hit a drift. Just seems like when I turn the shock just compresses then collapses. So I checked the adjustments. They were both the same side to side. So I turned the top adjustment 3 more clicks of the left shock and it seemed stiffer but still not sure if the shock is bad or not. Any input?

well my left just blew over the weekend but I could see where the oil leaked and dripped in the snow and sprayed on plastic when I rode it. My left side has no compression left in it and when riding the ski was just like it was clapping over any bumps. That was my indication its blown.

K yeah I don't see any oil but I had just bought it a couple months ago and when I bought it the handlebars on the left side were bent so I'm not sure. it seems better when I changed some adjustments but I dunno maybe I should just them sent in to get rebuilt they have 6800 miles on them

I have 5500 miles and have had them rebuilt twice. I just now got off the phone with hygear suspension. That's who I have used in the past. Im trying to decide to get the floats and ditch my coilovers but everyone says stay with the coilovers.

Yeah when I bought mine I was thing of getting floats but they are so much money and I have been reading that people like the coilovers. How much does it cost to get them rebuilt?

$40 per shock and $20 per shock for seals I believe. If you have them revalve them you are looking at $45 per shock more

ok I think I might have figured it out. I just went out and checked my rebound adjustments. my left rebound was at 10 clicks. my right was at 24. so would that left shock with 10 clicks of rebound adjustment be causeing the shock to not push back fast enough and cause it to just tip?

the rebound adjustment (difference in clickers) shouldn't cause the issue you described, as shock should still be in compression stage of the shock stroke. sounds like you need a shock service.

It's still a balance. If its initiating the corner no if it's as you get into the corner yes. The extra rebound will hold the sled over and keep compressing shock and not letting it come back as ez

It's more when I am already in the corner then starting to come out but it's when I was going slow. My brother got it on video when I tipped it over. I will try and post the video for you guys to see. But it's a little embarrassing
