Front Shock Questions

Hey everyone I need some advise. I broke a front shock last week and have a lot of offers on different shocks. Some are 04 rx1 shock and some are apex shocks. I know the apex shocks are shorter but I wondering if there is any advantage with the apex ones over the rx1 shocks.

I do have a set of 04 RX-1 shocks, which I am willing to part with, if your interested.
