I am running a ZX2 in my Apex which has raised the rear of my sled up slightly. The front end (stock shocks) collapses too much on decel and when hitting bumps without the preload cranked way up. So the rear end does not feel planted. It does not bottom but it is just not holding enough height.
When cranking up the preload the front end raises and keeps the front up better on decel and through the bumps. Although this does create excessive ski lift (I do have a 13mm sway bar).
My question is would there be any benefit to adding a stiffer spring then reducing the preload?

If I were you I would try and bulk up a little...............
that sled with you on it is like running by itself with NO weight on it, c'mon you can't give an honest opinion when you only weigh about as much as a bag of salt................
Put on 50 pounds and I bet that thing will corner like its on rails........
Has anyone seeing the size of this guy.....................
I'll be up late tonight and might want to ride tomorrow, I'll call you.

Maybe simpler to take a little different approach, one that might look at why you're getting so much transfer, and cut that back a little? Maybe you have too much weight on the front of the skid?
