will the fox floats off off the nytro fit on the phazer with out any problems, or are there better shocks then the floats.

Any high end shock with a coil over spring is better than the floats. Air shocks have been used, and $hitcanned, on bicycles and motorcycles years ago because of the bad stiction and overly progressive air spring traits inherent in them. The best shocks for sleds are Custom Axis and Ohlins. I would include Elka in that list, but Ross at Hygear Suspension says you don't want them. I did not ask him why. The reason floats are popular is because they're light and you don't have to change springs to suit different rider weights. Some bicycle people still like them for this. To be fair, this is mostly according to Ross, I've not ridden a sled with air shocks, only bicycles.
