I have always adjusted a carb as follows:
Main jet first
Needle position second
Pilot jet third
fuel or air screws fourth
Accelerator pump timing
Then back to number three and four if needed based on acc pump adjustment.

This has been true for two strokes and all of the four stroke dirt bikes I have owned.

As for the fuel controllers on an EFI, mine has the following adjustments

1- green - low end cruise circuit

2- Yellow - Accelerator pump

3- Red - Main jet

4- Green / blue - Boost fuel + or - when on boost

5- Yellow / blue - Lower switch point of yellow accelerator pump.

6- Red / blue - Lower switch point of main jet - means lowering rpm at which red comes on.

Do you guys have an order that you adjust these circuits? Like a carb I am sure they all effect each other.

I am not fishing or looking for specific set up numbers just in what sequence of circuits that you guys think is the best.

Thanks sap

# 2 is the needle circuit , on mine.

The order that you adjust should not matter,
AS LONG AS YOU ARE SURE WHICH MODE IS WHICH ON YOUR CONTROLLER.

# 2 is the needle circuit
Not all controllers have the same functions, in the same sequence, looks like he has a different controller.

EFI control box

Control box has 6 modes with different colors lights for each function.

1- Green -- Low end cruise circuit only, above 2600 RPM, stock dash CO adjust for idle, and below 2600 RPM

2- Yellow -- Accelerator circuit

3- Red -- Main jet

4- Green/Blue -- Boost Fuel + or – when on boost

5- Yellow/Blue -- Lower switch point of Yellow Accelerator circuit

6- Red/Blue -- Lower switch point of Main jet - means lowering rpm at which red comes on.

Wiring?
Black is ground
Red is Positive on injectors clips that get hooked up so power goes through box then back to injectors.
White is for NO2. Not needed unless you’re really crazy!!
Tan and pink are for voltage clamp.
Tan goes into pink middle wire at map sensor on fuel rail and pink goes back into ECU in harness. DO NOT hook up backwards!!

NOTE:

Blue hose from box to blow off valve brass fitting. Boxes are preset and will need different settings for different turbo setups.

High boost box must have fitting in intercooler so it DOES NOT get any vacuum signal.

These fuel controllers are infinetly adjustable. We can program are own boxes and they can be made to do just about anything you can imagine. To answer one of the questions, the circuits may or may not be tied together, or like most I've seen when yellow comes in, the green drops out. When red comes in the yellow drops out. But when blue/green, BOOST, comes in the red stays. All that can be changed however, it depends on how its programed. These Dobeck boxes are really incredible, the combinations are ENDLESS. :flag:
