Ok I took the broken up Hauck exhaust off my 06 Attak, installed a used stock pipe and muffler. Sled has a Dynojet power commander 3. Do I have to do anything with that fuel Controller now that I have stock on? I noticed when I start it it shoots up to 2000 rpm but then quick falls to 1000 or below.

Any other mods on the sled like an airbox mod? If the sled is all stock I really don't see the reason for running a fuel adder.

I am all new to the four stroke side so bear with me, the air box looks stock and when I open it there is nothing inside it. Is there supose to be?

There should be a prefilter inside and the air inlet should be at the bottom of the box. The opening should look uniform and clean if not someone modded it.

Yep air box looks stock

Do I have to adjust it or anything? How do I do that or can I simply unplug it and it will be back to stock?

Just get a stock map to run in it. Won't hurt anything

How do you get a stock map? I don't know nothing about these 4 strokes, been riding SRX's for years

I would just leave well enough alone. The change from the Hauck exhaust back to stock should have very little effect on the A/F ratio and if anything it may be a little rich depending on what program was loaded in the programmer.
I have gone from a modded stock exhaust to a Bender exhaust, to a Skinz exhaust, and back to a stock Apex mountain exhaust with the same Ulmer maps in my PC5 and the sled runs great....best with the stock Mountain exhaust.

If the sled is stock, you can just remove the PC 3 and it will run fine. The engine runs on the stock map in the factory ECM and the PC 3 just piggy backs on the stock ECM and adds a little more fuel fuel at particular RPM's and % of throttle for air box and exhaust modifications so the engine doesn't run too lean.
You really don't put a stock map in the PC 3. A so called "stock map" in a power commander would be a table with all 0's and the engine would default the the factory ECM map. Therefore there would be no reason the leave it on the sled.
If you do a search, you can see pictures of a modded airbox that is opened up to allow more air in and that's why a little more fuel needs to be added to prevent a lean condition. Without the modifications the engine may run a little rich if you leave the PC 3 on.

Actually there are alot of stock maps out there. They are not all 0's they are set to clean up problem areas in the stock ECM. To each his own I guess.

Ok, thanks for all the tips!
