What does the ratio refer to on the FPR? Also, is it correct to sense charge tube pressure instead of the manifold pressure and vacuum?? P/L has a 2:1 ratio and I am thinking of changing it out to a better unit.
Any recomendations on FPR's. I see Hurricane has one but very little description on it. Someone care to shed some light?? Thanks P.S forgot to mention I have bigger injectors, if that make a difference.

The ratio is how much it rises per # of boost.
A 1:1 ratio will raise the fuel pressure 1 psi for every psi of boost is senses. Meaning if your fuel pressure starts at 50, it will rise 1:1 and then give you 70 psi fuel pressure for 20 lbs of boost.
How much boost are you running? The stock FPR might be sufficient.

The 2:1 fuel pressure regulator is a rising rate regulator. If this is what came with the Powder Lites kit I recommend you to get similar 2:1 regulator if you decide to replace the one you have.
If you run a 1:1 regulator you most likely will starve for fuel on the higher boost levels you run.
A 2:1 regulator will raise fuel pressure 2 lbs for each lbs of increase in boost pressure. If you have 5 lbs of fuel pressure at 0 lbs boost you will have 25 lbs fuel pressure at 10 lbs boost pressure.

Hurricanes regulator is a VERY nice product. I was having trouble making maps even with a walbro cls393 pump. Then I added Hurricane's regulator and problem solved. Has a nice gauge on it as well. Can't go wrong on this purchase. Another solid boost component from Dave.
