I checked the relays and it clicks when I turn the key on but the pump don`t come on,I pulled it all apart and run direct power to the pump and it worked,so I check to see if power was coming to the pump and there was none,I checked all connections and no power to the pump, even if the relays clicks is it good? I also switched out the other relays in its place and still no power,I don`t get it ,i rode it about a week ago and put it in a heated garage and presto no pump power,if anybody has any ideas please let me know...thank ...Joe

Relay will still click but the connection inside will not be made. Either warm up the relay inside or replace if neccessary

relays

the sled is in a heated man-cave thats 70 all the time, and I tried the oter 2 tha are the same and I get the same results, could they all be bad at once......

U might have a broken wire supplying the relay. Did u check the fuses? One of the wires should be live all the time if I am not mistaken. The power is picked up when u turn on the key. I don't have my buddies manual anymore so I can't tell u which wires to check.

relays

I checked all he fuses by the brake system that are above it,is there fuses down by he starter relay and can I bypass the relay to see if it powers up the pump,I have the sled torn apart pretty good so I can gt to the wiring about anywhere, man Idon`t want to take it to the dealer with such little time to ride, but I just might have to....

relay

yes it turns over but the pump don`t activate,I put power to the pump feeding it off the battery and it fires right up,is there a way to bypass the relay , check the relays to see if they are bad, like I said I took the other 2 that are the same and I get the same results, they click but no pump power,I don`t think they are all bad so its gotta be a ground somewhere, can I ground the wire off the pump to see if its there, which wire on the relay is the ground so I can try it there also....

relay

fixed it ,was a broken ground wire, what a pain to trouble shoot, but crack a 12 pack and did it,thanks for the tips guys..............

Where is the ground wire for the fuel pump..........and for that matter where is the fuel pump?

Having a similar problem only my relays don't click......checked the fuses OK pump seems OK continuity between leads. Where was the ground broken?

Do u have power 2 the relay. There should be 2 live wires when u turn on the key. I,m not sure if the power supply that is picked up by the relay is live when the key is off. Check for power when the key is off then when the key is on.
