I purchased a used 2013 Vector Ltx during the summer. Before I take it out this week I am just wondering if I should be concerned with the fuel pump relay that some of the others had issues with. Also where is the relay and should I purchase a spare and carry it with me. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all

It shouldn't be a problem if you're riding it. People have had problems when riding for a while and then stopping for a lenght of time. For example of you were out ice fishing.
The relay should be on the left side of the machine right near your knew when you're sitting. You have to take off the side panel to access it and if I remember correctly it's the one closest to the tunnel.
If you do have problems starting it take the relay out and warm it up in your hands.

New solid state red relay available for about $15 in Canada. No moving parts and never freezes.

Thanks for the reply. I just got back from a three day trip and did 600 miles. It was great. Do you know the part number for that relay. Thanks Mike
