every time i fill my sled with fuel i get a smell of gas for a little while after riding. I dont squeeze it right full either. i noticed it is coming from the vent line by the secondary and leaves a bit of fuel in the bellypan area under the clutch. Is this normal? my rx-1 never did it. If i start out the day with like 3/4 tank i never nontice it. It only happend witha full tank when riding it. Kinda scares me, a little fumy also.

I've never noticed any smell with mine, but if you remove the side panels and follow the vent line(s). It could be possible that one of them got pulled out of place and is draining into the belly. JMO.

My fuel vent goes into the alum. bar around my left boot. If the line wore thru somewhere or came off it could vent into the bellypan. just above the starter relay that causes problems. (or is it the right foot well)

the line vents into the bar around your left foot which is by the secondary. it just looks like its venting

One day I was FILLING up my apex and I could also smell fuel. Still haven't figured out where it was coming from. After filling the smell went away though. LOL
