I've never been able to get even 100 miles out of the stock tank. The 7.4 gallon tank is too small.

just chiming in...dont know too much about these sleds...but the saddlebag thing seems logical to me...move some fuel weight to the lightest part of the sled...the rear?

On the over-priced sled with too small a tank...You would find it acceptable that you would have to BUY an additional overpriced accessories in order to have acceptable fuel capacity and range???

I like those bags The tank size of 7 1/2 GAL was a big deal but i think it CCL who has a 10gal for 325.00 and a set of pilot skis 250.00 so it still the same price as doo 1200
so it work out to be the same as far as price goes after test riding both i felt that the yammi was a little better for me i spend a lot of time in Canada so gas mpg and fuel range is very big deal for me

Good to hear your getting one on Friday, can you please post the contact info. If I search under CCLC nothing pertaining to a snowmobile gas tank comes up? Any help would be appreciated!!
