Does boostane and an ic lower engine temps?

I would guess it would since the engine may not be working as hard.

I'm going to say 98% of the time, no. Hopefully someone more qualified will chime in.
 
It can only lower engine temps by way of helping you avoid a problem. Otherwise, no. EGTs will be roughly the same as combustion is a fixed process (meaning it doesn't fluctuate that much relatively speaking).
