Hey guys thinking of fully clipping my stock Nytro XTX 144" track before the snow flies. Sled is up at cottage. Does anyone know how many clips I will need to add? Or did anyone have the dealer do it and how much did they charge? Thanks.

I had the dealer do mine before I took it home last year, can't quite remember how many clips was needed, I could probably look through my paperwork and find it though. I only paid for the clips, $1 each.

You need 76 clips.
Thanks guys!

So is this going to allow the track to run looser, more top speed and less highfax wear? Whats the benefit to adding more rotational mass? Purely for no ratcheting? Sorry for the stupid questions.

I did it to lessen slider wear, less friction=less wear. You will only be able to run your track looser if you have extrovert drivers, introverts are stock.
I am hoping this improves my hifax life as well. I plan on adding the clips and scratchers. I run my track loose and have not had it ratchet yet. Radian guy, did you notice a difference in slider wear after adding the clips?
