Fully clipping track

hey fellas, who has fully clipped their stock ripsaw 2 track? And if so what tool and clips did you buy? Were they installed with track on the sled?

Clipped mine. Old clip tool from HPE and got the clips from Wahl Bros, installed on sled no problem, just loosen track way up.

Not really worth clipping that silent drive imo. Far better off to sell it and replace with full clip regular 2ply.

Is the stock track one or 2 ply? I turned up the boost and will be running max spool 20 occasionally and figured it would be s good idea to clip that track...,

Stock track is a two ply.

I had mine fully clipped. Clips from Dennis Kirk, took off snow flap and had my dealer do the job. They have the clip tool that looks like a bolt cutter. If memory serves me, $175 for everything.

What would be the benefits of doing this?

Less rolling resistance, especially running Dupont slides.
