4 tanks of fuel ago the fuel level indicator started acting weird. One tank full it stayed on Full for that entire tank-full. After the next fill up it read 1/2 full and then went up to Full and back to 1/2. Next fill up it stayed at empty, bounced up to 3/8 then back down to empty. The last full up it seemed ok until it got down to 3/4 then it stayed bouncing astound Again. Is this an electronic dash issue or is it a sending unit issue? Sled is a 2014 RTX.

Would the breather tube for the gas tank being iced shut have anything to do with this? Had issues with ice build up in the belly pan and the breather tube was completely blocked

The breather tube being blocked would change pressure in the tank but I don't think the float will be influenced by pressure changes...
Your issue sounds electrical, something changing

sounds like the sending unit in the tank is worn out. brothers sx viper did the same thing and the new sending unit fixed it.

Had a similar issue with mine last week. Temps were ranging from -30 to -10. When temps started to come up to single digits & teens, gauge was reading like normal. No issues prior to last week, either. Good luck!

36F today and gage is reading correctly. I am wondering if I got some fuel with water in it and it was freezing to the sending unit as the level in the tank went down. During the same time I had the initial problem I was getting some engine stumbling upon initial acceleration. Water in the fuel would do that. Trails closed around here today due to warm temps so i cant take it out to see how it is performing.
