How do i get the outer sliding sheath off of the primary clutch to replace sliding sheath?
I have one here that hit a rock while spinning and everything survived accept the sliding sheath.

You need a “grunt tool” to spin the fixed sheave from the spider. Your nearest dealer should be able to do this for you.

My nearest dealer is 350 km away and on the other side of the Alberta border and if we cross into Alberta we have to self quarantine for 14 days. Can a guy weld up some sort of tool? The fixed sheath is reverse threaded, correct?

Any sled racer probably has the tool to remove spider.

I made a tool for the fixed sheath and a holding fixture for the spider and it worked awesome...the holding fixture is still in the prototype stage but it works

Just take a metal plate at least a 1/4 thick. Drill three holes that match the holes in the backside of the non-movable sheave. Install high-grade strength bolts so they protrude far enough to fully engage the holes.
Weld a piece of flat iron on the bottom at a right angle. This is how your vise will clamp it.
Do not remove the cover from your clutch while trying to loosen. Carefully put two long pry bars through the clutch being sure you are prying on strong areas. Note, these are left hand threads.
I've been doing it like this for 25 years.
