I have about 100 miles on my new Vector and during the last ride gas started leaking out of the vent tube(?) coming from the top of the tank which then goes into the frame near the secondary clutch. it was dripping from the access plate on the bottom of the bulkhead along with some spots of coolant. Runs fine, no engine lights come on. I did have the problem with the TORS too. Other than that the sled's great! Any one have any thoughts?

No, sorry I don't. But I will state the obvious......definately find out where that coolant is coming from.

Did you maybe add some coolant to the resivoir and spill some?

I haven't added coolant since the machine is new. What bothers me is that the level holds steady and the ttemp light doesn't come on.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Have you wiped it off really good? Then make sure everything is tight.. Ride it :ORC and keep an eye on it for awhile. MM.

Took the sled to the dealer yesterday and there was a hose clamp misaligned somewhere that wasn't obvious so the coolant was dripping. the main problem was one of the drain plugs came out of one of the carbs. they told me this has been happening occasionally on these carbs. Now everything should be great-except all the snow is melting!

The rage I test rode the other day had a coolant leak when I got back to the dealer, small puddle under the sled. I figured it was simply from the overflow, but the salesman didn't know and didn't think it important enough to get the wrench out to look at it. ???
