Im putting a new ride together. Its on a budget and for bracket racing.

Im looking at different gauge options. The factory tach on this guy is smashed. Instead of looking for a used tach, then getting a separate AFR, boost and temp gauges. Im wondering what the multi gauge options out there are?

Ive seen the Prologger, what else is out there?
What would you recommend?

Yes, I just registered TY4Stroke but had been on TYam previously....and Snowest....and AMSnow....and Dootalk ;-)

Thanx in advance Tyler

The Prologger is an affordable option, will record AFR, Boost pressure, RPM and also function as a boost controller.
All depends on how much data logging you want to do on the tar, if you are looking to collect a few different pressures (fuel, boost) and shaft speeds, RPM, etc I would recommend a Racepak UDX Dash. I've now used that on a few different boosted drag sleds and really like it.

I just talked with Matt at Mnt. Performance. Hes not sure how to hook up the RX1 tach to the Prologger.....Im sure Ive read where people have done it but track it down with a search.

sledracer,

If you are using the stock ignition, you need to use a tach adapter that converts the signal to an output that the data aquisition logger can use.
I've used different tach adapters from MSD. Their GMR pickup is nice, clips on to the coil harness trigger wire like the inductive pickup of a timing light, etc

The tach adaptor works with the CDI ignition on the RX1? I thought the Nytro needed the tach adaptor....or is a different kind of adaptor for the RX1?

The Apex you don't need an adapter because you can tap into the digital signal from the cam sensor in the valve cover.
I think you might be confusing a tach adapter with the MSD Launch Master that doesn't work with the RX1 CDI...
The ignition coil packs on an RX1 still get triggered somehow, an adapter references this trigger. There are different types of adapters, some you splice into the harness.

We have almost any gauge you can think of available at the store, feel free to give us a call or email derek@heartlandrodandcustom.com for info on anything you might be looking for. I put a set of Innovate Motorsports G2 series gauges on my Apex, and the face style was the closest I could find to the Yamaha tach style. They're some of the better performing gauges on the market, and pretty reasonably priced too!
If you're looking for an all in one gauge, we can help find something to fit that bill as well! (319)545-2137.

Like I said I need to get a tach, AFR, water temp, boost etc. What all in one gauges do you carry? Ideally I would handle bar mount as I want a removable hood so no gauges in the dash.
