Did anyone trying putting in taller gears in a Warrior. If you did what were the notable differences.Did you gain top speed ,did you lose accellration. :4STroke:

From what I've been told by two dealers, the big gearing change for Warriors is down (not up). This is done to get the rev's up to 10.4k. They also said acceleration was better and top speed was not affected much at all.

I tried the 23 tooth Warrior gearing this year with my 136 stretched 03 shorty. I went back up to the original 24 tooth RX1 top sprocket. Gained back some top end with NO noticable loss in the bottom. Traction is still the bigger problem.

I put the 24 in the top, in my Warrior, and gained top end. It pulled the gear no problems. Like Fullback said TRACTION is the issue.

Saw no reason to, I thought mine was geared just right and those Megabites worked as advertised ;)!

In the right conditions for hook up I could beat anyone I raced out of the hole. But my buddies zrt 800 and t-cAt would catch me around 100 and sometimes get by me.I would like to be able to keep him looking at my snow flap a little longer. So I thought maybe going to a 24 could help on the big end a little.

Makes sense to me Mike unless you hurt the holeshot to the pointe that they get the jump on you.

Going to the 24 tooth will help you on top end, and like I said you will never notice any loss of bottom end. In loose snow T-cats, F7s and ZR
900s were a handfull for me. When I could hook up it was a whole other story.

Full back I experienced the same thing in loose snow one thing I did notice most of the time there was loose snow 2-3 inches over very hard almost icy snow.So I'm hoping studs will help in those conditions.Anyone have a 24 tooth gear to sell. ;)!
