gearing for max17 cat gears and chain 22/37 =84 pitch

Well finally collected all the part info I need,to gear my ltx up for next winter. Had to go back to 2012 cat turbo lxr,funny thing they had two lxr,s in 12 both geared different.So the top gear 22t 15 w 1702-191, bottom gear 37T 13 W 2602-371,AND 84P chain,15w 2602-365 price for chain on babbitts is around $103,the 37 around 35 bucks and top 22 is 18 bucks. Now I have a 38t 13w that I ran last year,till I blew the chain,but everdently we did not get the borg chain,but its p/n is 2602-372a. Hope this helps.

Should all work but I would of went all Borrg Warner instead of the old style.

I didn't do the math, how much different will the top speed be with this combo?

Should bring you into the upper 130s low 140s. Good radar gearing on a 9 tooth 2.86 pitch and 125 to 130 on a 8 tooth 3 pitch track.

Pete, why the world would you want to go back to the old silent chain and sintered gears? You know dang well that crap will wad up in the chain case and gernade it. You don't want any of that crap from a 2012!

I was not aware Mike they were sintered metal,so they are not borg warner? Do you have any idea where I can get the same gears and chain,in borg?

These were copied from the internet so verify when you order that indeed they are BW Hyvo. I' Pretty sure the part numbers are all good but just in case.

Thanks bro,but now that I see so much money I want to pour into her for next year,i think I will just find that 22 top gear with oil hole in it,and replace it and be done.
