pretty sure thats a rexnord gear - it dosent line up correctly with the hyvo or borg warner chain and gears - different cut - i wouldnt use that 22 tooth cat gear with borg warner, stock yamaha stuff - they do not mix well.... youll have to go with the whole cat rexnord chain and gears thing - rexnord stuff is kinda junky - B W is better stuff - shouldnt mix em.

That 24 looks inviting, yamaha has one listed in my new 2017 service manual, they have it for two of there long tracks, there 162 runs 24/50 on a 92 link chain and a 49/21 on a 90 link, just wondering if the 24/41 would be able to run a 90 link,or is that chain to long, and need an 88 link?

What did Yamaha get for there 24 top gear,is it sentered metal,or hyvo?

Does anyone make a 13 wide bottom gear in 40 or 39? To fit the sidewinder.

Waldo where Are you located ? The 22 gear is very accessible here in Ontario Canada
its available but thanks - almost any gear is available from a custom shop for 10x the cost of oem - yamaha gears are cheap - like 20 - 40 bucks for top - 21 41 86 is stock on most 129, 137, 141, which is 1.95 ratio for a 9 tooth driver on rtx and ltx or about 122 mph - u can fit a 22 41 with a 86 link chain for a 1.86 ratio and get a few mph - the next chain is a 90 - borg warner does not make an 88 - but a custom shop does - u need 88 for 24 41 - which is a great option for u 141 3.0 pitch 8 tooth 1.6 lug guys, the slowest combination for top end of the group besides mtx or le deep lug slugs - smaller 8 tooth driver with 3.0 pitch changes everything - u got about a 115 mph sled. needs alot more gear with a flash. i dont like running the to the top of the gear - belts dont like that - so if u want to do 120 - u need a 125 mph gear. much better on belt...

Just bought a 38 bottom,13 wide shipped for 38 bucks,and can get a borg chain 84 pitch for 98 bucks. 38/22 gives us 141 38/21 is 135 and 41/22 131 at 8800 rpms on 9 tooth 2.86 pitch drivers.

Pretty sure you will not fit 22/38 with an 84P chain. 58-59 total teeth work with an 84P chain.

We already have 21 top gear, was stock top gear on my 137 SW and I can run that with the 38 bottom, but need the 84 pitch chain, hey thanks for this chart, very helpful,i could also run 24 top and 38 bottom,on stock 86 chain,be wicked over geared though.

Bigger top gear is easier on the bushing from all I have found.
Ya,it might be steve, but I get better top end numbers with 21 and 38 but I can start right out now with 22/41 cause I have the 86 pitch chain.
