Hey guys, relatively new Apex owner here who is looking to do more hands-on maintenance vs. taking it into a dealer every year. Is there a sticky/FAQ/guide for what yearly maintenance you should perform on your sled to ready it for the season? Just want to make sure I'm ticking all the right boxes!
FYI - My sled is an 06 w/6000 miles on it.
Thanks guys!

Grease the jack shaft bearing behind the secondary clutch and the speedo sensor bearing down below, all your wheels, clean clutches and inspect for worn parts or cracks and chain case oil. You should be good to go.Hey guys, relatively new Apex owner here who is looking to do more hands-on maintenance vs. taking it into a dealer every year. To add to icebreaker's list:
Change engine oil, check front end bushings and replace as necessary ( with 6k miles my bet is that they are worn out), check the functions of all lights and brake switch, check track tension and sliders, check skid bushings and replace as needed, check coolant level and percentage (should be 50/50 or good down to -40c) make sure all nuts and bolts are tight, check drive belt and confirm it is still in spec ( specs found on belt guard) , check exhaust donut by plugging off exhaust (if the sled stalls all is good),
This is what my sled looks like when I start my pre season check list

Check for loose rivets on the heat exchangers where the foot wells are and on the heat exchanger tube on the back. I have 10,000 miles and a bunch of them were loose or had pulled thru.
