Genesis Extreme Shut Off

Ok why would you let it idle for 5 min. if you dont plan on riding it after you started it,at least put it on a jackstand and run it thru a couple of blips of the throttle and i mean yp to 8,000 rpms than take it for a short rip, sometimes if coolant does not flow along at speed it may heat up more than normal.

You know you could be right because I did put mine on a stand the first time I cranked it! Gave it a few blips and its been fine.

How's the snow up there Phantom? We have a good foot with base here in south western NY.

Thanksgiving was good, didn't bring the sleds though. About 12-18" rode ATV around the yard that's it. When it warmed up that all went.

I'm back in Jersey now, they are saying there is more snow South in Oneida Lake/Rome area.

Tree's up. Those are great pictures! I keep the Apex quiet untl I ride next. The dealer shoud have done the heat cycles anyway.

Your low on fuel. My friends GT did the same thing with one bar on the guage .Put some fuel in and try again.

Just for info. When the guage dropped to one bar 25 kms later engine quit. No reserve on this puppy.

OK, if low fuel then why would the engine temp indicator show on the gauge after the engine dies? Not enough fuel to run the radiator?

Ok, try fuel first. If that don't work it's hot but with one bar left I would blame low fuel.

How am I going to make it without riding for another 3 weeks!!!??? I should have never pulled the cover off and started that bad boy up. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Repeat. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
