I put the oso primary spring, took the tip rivets out of the weights and put the silver sec. spring at 80degrees. On hard packed round(very good conditions) I get 125mph on dreammeter. The belt is coming a 1/4 inch shy from the top of the clutch. The sled is reving 10,500 and I have the 5/16 washers in the secondary. I need to get the belt to the top. Is my best bet to put rivets back in and drill some out? It does seem to pull better at 10,500 than 10,200. Thanks for any input. P.S. I'm getting the 14.5mm rollers this week dealer had to order.

rvets

put the rivets back and jet up to at lest 137.5 or 140. you will need tip whigt for top speed

I dont think you wll get to the top of the primary clutch, seems I read somewhere that you yave to have 1 of the shives machined so the primary will "pinch" together that close.

sheves

yes the belt will never run to the top even after cutting the the sheves but thet will run a lot higher but 1/4 in is .250 tho thats about 6.5 mm that mite still be a little short.

I just got back from Canada and I put 1350 miles on my Warrior. I found with the 14.5 mm rollers it would only Rev 10,300 RPM, I have the OSO primary and the Silver Secondary with the shims. I tried different settings on the secondary spring eg: 60, 70, 80 degree twist and still could not get it above 10,300.
I put the stock 15.5 mm rollers back in and then it came up to 10,500 again, but I did notice with the 14.5 mm rollers you get a smoother engagement when starting out.

Now if I could only get the best of both worlds here :D What do you think blackjohn :flag:

Mine has the 15 mm rollers in it now and will rev 10,5000 on long run and hard pack or ice. Will try the 14.5's on wednesday to see how they are.It does seem faster when reving 10,500 but had to really tell Any other tips? I do weight 280lbs and have the 1 1/4 ripsaw with 96 down the middle and the ecp kit. Thanks
