Have 03 RX1 K&Ns, silver springs, stock weights,silver wrapped to 80',stock helix. Made the mistake (I think) of running my light 57.5 gram Dalton flyweigths when I first installed Fred's kit. I also messed with stiffer primary springs thinking this would get my Revs ups (It was hitting the wall @ 10,000) probably making the primary slippage much worse and potentially glazing both of my belts. Both belts are measuring 33.5 mm which I believe is 1mm from new. Put an shim in the secondary to bring the belt height up but did not seem to make any diifference. Belt is approximately 1/4 inch below the previous full shift out height which was about 1/4 inch to the top of the primary sheave. Could this just be smoked belts because of screwing around or.............? I got my best top speeds @10,500 now hitting wall at 10,000. Losing almost 10 mph on top. Any thoughts? :cry:
