I am torn, i love the nytro's and i also love the phazers. My wife wants a phazer but i cant really afford a new nytro and a new phazer.

Im wondering if i got a p0hazer, what are some modifications i can do to get more torque/power out of it without spending a boat load of dough.

Please help me make up my mind on what to do.

The hauck git r done kit is around $1200, it bumps the phazer to 92 or so hp. Compared to stock it is an improvement all the way to top end. My uncle has the kit on his, mine is bone stock. His is much snappier. I have ridden 440 liquid racers for years, most recently an 05 IQ 440 both stock and with a 600 in it, I think the phazer is comparable from 0-60. The TORQUE is addicting. If you trail ride, ditch bang, then the phazer is excellent. If you want to straight line race, or hit 100mph then spend the extra money on the nytro. Hope this helps ya a little.

I am not sure who has done it but porting would surely add plenty of reliable hp.

Well if your looking at NEW, maybe consider
the year end closeouts
You could in theory get a 07 phazer used or maybe new
for 4000? give or take, add a MCX turbo $4500 plus
install and be right around 9-10k
and have alot of happiness... :)

I have seen new 07 phazers going for less than $5000 at local dealers. I have also seen nytro's on Ebay for a buy it now price of 7300. If you can find a deal on both you might be able to squeeze by for the same as two new MRSP Phazers. Just something to check into.[/i]
