Give Yamaha more than one chance!

Thats right, it was for the engagement. Have never heard here in Sweden, that any one in Sweden has transmission carnage problems.
But time will tell... have only less than 1 year warranty left..., have driven the sled now about 2200miles.

The transmission carnage seems to be a high mileage thing. It didn't happen until 3850 miles. It's strange because the symptom is you push the reverse button, and it doesn't respond. Wouldn't have noticed it but my machine was rope start only at the time, and I couldn't shut it down, and it happened twice in a short period of time. Dealer said reverse dogs need replacing.

ya really give them another chance its there seconde years and if u think about it look at polaris... how long have they been making sleds and even if they've been making them along time theres are thousands of problems with them. its pretty much impossible to not have problems with polaris they suck!!!

I like the sled but when there not going to fix a problem that they already fixed because theres not enough miles on the sled somethings wrong with that. (update called yamaha they are going to fix it now.)

Polaris 600's are pretty dependable....

FWIW my riding buddy who has done almost all of my 4600 miles with me, has done it trouble free on a 2006 Polaris Dragon 600. His mileage sucks, but other that that he's witnessed my many breakdowns, he hasn't had one, and I do 5X the maintenence he does. I know Polaris is weak, but not all their sleds are unreliable...
