Gas is .95 to 1.30 per liter. St. Michel des Saints and south received alot of rain today and from what I have read on trail reports trails are not good. If you are going further north, you may be alright. try to find a reliable source for honest trail conditions before you leave. have a great trip.

Just got back Tuesday from St Zenon, St Michelle De Saints, St Come area. Last Friday rain turned to ice to snow, trails were good, some rocks and some dirt in areas but was good. Not nearly as much snow has we are used to at this time of year, but we put on some miles.
Keep the sled in the pen/garage area at night if its available at your hotel, otherwise, get a good cryptonite lock.
Peace!

Regardless of the locks, keep your eye out,had 2003 Super duty crew cab diesel stolen right from the hotel parking lot in broad daylight.

These posts about stealing are ridiculous. It's terrible that you basically have to cement your Truck, trailer, and Sleds to the ground so they don't get taken. people should stop going to Quebec until they stop thefts.

Rippin, I am plalnning on a trip to St. Zenon Jan. 28th. It seems they got quite a bit of rain/ice on 17th and 18th. If this is so do you think the trails would have held up to the rain? I don't want ot drive for 8 hours if trails are not rideable. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

The theft problem has been going on for years there, and it's not just snowmobiles and trucks, motorcycles too.Big buisness there for stolen goods. Not trying to deter anyone from going just a word of caution!.

That weather site is great, thanks for the link The weather especially the last week looked marginal at best, and this week does not have much snow in the forcast. I wish there was a similar link for some honst trail conditions. Nothing like hearing it from a TY member that has just been there.
Thanks in advance Rippin!

Bridges North of Roberval
I heard that some of the bridges North of Roberval burned last summer in a bad fire that surrounded the Chibagamau area. We are a bit disappointed because our group wanted to do the Chibagamau loop again. Apparently the bridges will not be done until next season. Too bad because the loop from Sennetarre up to Chibagamau and down to Roberval is one of the best trails I have ever been on in Quebec.
