Just returned from Quebec last night, rained like a bastard wednesday all the way north to about roberval on the west side of the lake and just above Alma on the east, shawinigan still has plenty of base but there was 8" of water in the streets and trees down in the trail from the icing. We trailered to north of la Tuque and rode around the lake and stayed in that area, trails ranged from 7 to 10 out of 10. Everything was groomed flat hit maybe 5 bumps ...lol. Around the top of lac St jean above roberval they got snow instead of rain and we rode in about 8" of powder, it was icy in alot of areas but enough snow and ground up ice on top for hyfax and cooling and it was flat and fast.. when we left yesterday it was 14 deg f and snowing pretty hard all the way down to shawinigan.. I have to say anyone heeaded up there should look to go at least La tuque and you'll have spectacular riding.. it was 32 and spitting rain by the time we got down to trois rivieres on the trip home yesterday afternoon. Theres still TONS of snow up there, its just crusty. More snow is forecasted all weekend.

It is 3 pm saturday the 21 jan... In Trois-rivieres ( midway between montreal and Quebec) it has snowed 6 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow so far today.. the forecast for quebec city is same or 2 more inches.... Things are looking good from here to the north and east...

just get back from 2 day ride in chaudiere appalache start in pintendre relais ville marie going to riviere du loup trail 10 on 10 verry fast trail 35 trail 55 are super a lot of snow get a lot of snow saterday 12 inch ride bas st laurent , gaspee , chaudiere apalache , betther trail than north quebec i ride for 30 years am 15 mile south montreal and i trailer 1h30 to get chaudiere apalache every week thas the place to be belive me so nice trail you dont need suspension if you need some picture email me a take some 100 pic friday and satherday and i send you some trail map via email
