My dad and I are heading out to the West Yellowstone/Island Park, ID area next month. What (if anything) needs to be done to the sled before we go? 2007 Attak and 2010 Vector LTX so obviously no jetting to worry about. I don't know squat about clutching. We are high mileage trail riders exclusively, next to never off trail so I don't care about anything for back country riding, etc. Both sleds are bone stock.

Thanks.

My advise and 2 cents is call a Yamaha dealer out there and ask them, they should be able to tell you what works, for stock sleds especially. Be safe and send us pictures!!!!

I was out there last month. Drill out all three rivets in your primary clutch weights and leave them empty. Your sleds should be running pretty close to proper rpm by just doing this.
