Good place to stay overnight between North Bay & Halibur

Hey Guys,

Planning our sled trip here and we will be coming down from North Bay one day and looking to stop somewhere between NB and Haliburton (Halls lake to be exact).

Anywhere ideas where to stay just south of Huntsville for 3 sledders? Looking around that area.

We stayed at a nice place called Edgewater park lodge last year, near sand lake. They have new owners this year that said that they have revamped everything. Nice place, lots of cabins and rooms and they have a bar/restaurant/gas right onsite.

What ^^^ he said. We stayed at the Edgewater last week and I would suggest it as well. The trails were pretty good (needed more snow) but the groomers were out doing as good as they could with what the had to work with. The only thing that gave us trouble (because of the small gas tank/range of the FX Nytro) was it seemed a stretch at times to find gas. We never ran out but we got close once. If you are looking South of Huntsville...we stayed in Bracebridge before and I believe the Hotel was called the Sleep Inn (which was right on the trail). Unless Huntsville got more snow in the last week you might want to stay North of Huntsville.
