Just got my ECS back from getting serviced at Pioneer Performance.
I ordered:
Revalve to complement a new 6.0 N/mm spring
New bottom-out bumper
New reservoir (mine was in rough shape from the previous owned running too loose of a track with studs)
New protector sleeve
New seal head (still had the '06 seal head that doesn't like snow and ice)
Pioneer turned it around in about 10 days, shipped UPS ground in a nice new box with plenty of packing peanuts and foam. It looks better than new now. I can't wait to experience the new ride this season.
The shock looks brand new now

Nice!!!! We pretty much have the identical shock now, except spring color. I think you will like the hydraulic bump stop, no more bottoming out.

Just got mine back from Bruce this week with a blue spring. Looking forward to trying out the re-valve and stiffer spring.

Call Bruce at Pioneer 716-496-8800 for a quote.
They are closed on Sundays and Wednesdays, and you may have to leave a message, but he will return your call.

Well,
Nearly 18 months after I started this thread I finally got to try out my revavlved Ohlins ECS. Because of the snowless winter last season I didn't get to try out my changes till this past weekend.
The valving changes have made this machine a totally different animal. the rear suspension almost feels bottomless with the new valving and the beefier spring. I have logged about 150 in the past 3 days riding on the trails right outside my door. I must say that this rear suspension tune and the addition of dual runner pilot skis are the best mine I have spent on my sled hands down.
Many thanks to Bruce at Pioneer Performance!
Pray for more snow!
Merry Chrismas TY'ers.
