Console on the left hand side doesn't seem to fit correctly. Dealer said they have all been that way so far and Yamaha is aware of the problem. I might take it apart and have a look. Other than that it looks awesome. LOVE the sound, much meaner then my Nytro sounds!

That's what I'm thinking. Not allot of faith in the dealer I had to look up the part number on here for a spare belt for it the parts guy couldn't find it. Not confidence inspiring.

Looks awesome and congratulations! You just need to look at it closely and snap it back in. Mine was a nice fit.

Very nice !! I'll keep am eye open for that when I see mine.

I ordered that cover but it might not show up for 2 weeks. Waiting on skid plates as well.

Console doesn't fit correctly? As a longtime Cat owner prior to riding Yamaha that sounds pretty familiar. I wouldn't worry about it too much and it will probably just snap in place with a little work. Looks great! Congratulations and enjoy!

None of my snowcheck goodies came yet. He said it will be another 6 weeks till I see my jacket and other stuff. Going to be tough waiting to let my knee heal enough to ride! Felt really snappy running it up the driveway!

Looks great! So glad you guys are starting to see your sleds roll in.

That tab fits in a slot, the whole cowling needs to be loosened up and slid forward so the tab can fit into its slot and then just slide the cowling back into its spot and put the six screws back in. A second set of hands helps the first time especially if your going to take it all the way off. Unplugging the gauge/headlight connection could be a real pita the first time by yourself, yamacat21 and I found out from experience last night tearing down his new ltx, the refreshments may not have helped. Anyway the whole procedure is in your owners manual, bring that back to your dealer and show them the book lol! Have a good season on that new scooter!

Deerhunter you lucky dog it looks awesome and I don't want to start a fight but the red is nice

love the headlights in the mist... Jane goodall has nothing on this I am calling PBS I'm thinking Ken Burns documentary here. "vipers in the Mist" it could start out with a darkly lit room in a bunker during the signing of the secret agreement between Yammy and A/C, the cloak and dagger testing sessions with the sleds camoed like they do with the Ferraris and Beamers on the Autobahn, Then the crating and delivery woes, winding with Hapy little boys everywhere riding and jumping - Gone With The Wind does not have this much "DRAMA"

It reminds me of my 98 SX 700 just a bit deeper red. I gave the SX to my neighbor for free with the understanding I get to look at it and start it anytime I want. And now hearing the Viper has a bit more bite to the exhaust note only makes it better.

Finally a Yamaha with a factory temp guage. :sled1:
