Ha ha, anybody can go out and get a YFZ 450. I spent quite a while fixing up the Quadracer.

Looks like the 1.25 is already close to the front exchanger protectors. Looks like the protectors gotta get cut out for a bigger track. Is there enough room on top between the tunnel and track for going bigger?

I weighed my Nytro today using three cheepie Walmart scales that I've used for the past several years just for this purpose. They arn't too good so figure +/- 10lbs or so. My Nytro with a full tank of gas, ready to ride is 597 lbs. I then weighed my Vector that is probably down 1/2 gallon from a full tank and it came in at 629 lbs. The difference is 32 lbs. My Vector has been stripped down as you can see in my signature. It also has VK Professional 7" wide skis that I installed late last season.
While the weights are certianly not certified or anything, at least we know the Nytro lost a significant amount of weight from the Deltabox chassis. I also noticed the Nytro feels way slimmer in the seat area than my Vector.
Years ago I weighed my '02 Zx 440 full of gas, ready to ride using the same scales and it came in at 555 lbs. That is 42 lbs lighter than my Nytro but I can already see things that can be stripped off the Nytro to lighten it up a bit. As technology progresses, the 4 strokes just keep getting lighter every year!
Just for comparison years ago I also weighed a Phazer II short track full of gas, ready to ride and it came in at 467 lbs. I think everyone can agree that a Phazer feels light both when riding it and picking it up. It would be 130 lbs lighter than my Nytro.

I'd say it is aluminum but I can check if you provide more info on exactly where it is.

Rockrider,
Have you ridden it at all?
You know I'm going to post a video next week when I get mine.

No, aside from backing it out of my truck and then rolling forward a few feet in the garage with the skis on rollers. During that short period of time the amount to fumes that came off the exhaust was enough to stink up the garage. I don't know what they coat the muffler with but it sure burned off with a vengence! I figure I'd rather ride it outside and not deal with it. Unfortunately, I do not yet have a lawn so I have to wait for snow. Just as well, it would be too tempting to ride!
