Heck, my 03 usuall spins 10,300 @WFO, last weekend on the lake running on soft snow it was spinning 10,700! at an indicated 118 mph.
Any ideas on why I was over reving????

dropped off at neilsen . they said that was a big problem with the 03. and yamaha will warranty them. so I should have it back by wed of next week.
and best of all no charge to me. yet another item that yamaha will back. so I hope that will fix the problem.but they are going through the whole sled to make sure.

daverx-1. I would drop from 60 degree to 50 degree that should drop your rpm a little and will pull harder. but you lose a little backshift.
skydog you are not to far from me. I live in crystal lake. wil have to go for a ride some time. I would like to see a turbo in action in person.
