OK just seeing if redpinemapping is the one to order for a garmin GPS.
Just looking for reviews and opinions.
Thanks

I cant comment on those. I've been running www.vvmapping.com give them a look. I can't say I have any negative comments on them. They do as advertised, accurate and very affordable. Plus free year of updates.

Thanks Subaru at least they list a phone# redpine does not, appreciate your help

Not a problem. I used their list of compatible units and bought one. I have never needed support so once again I can not comment on that. From what I gather these guys are just like us. They either are avid snow or ATV/utv users. I'm not sure where your from but I ride in the western UP.

wow on labor day no doubt great service right there. how much was it for the mapping?

In my experience, the RedPine customer service was seriously lacking, based on a problem I had a few years ago with a non-working map version. That said, I did decide to give it another shot last year. I really like that they send the map on an SD card, so you plug it right into the device. I found it to be mostly complete. I sometimes found I was having trouble seeing the difference between a road and the trail on the map view. But, overall I like it. I'll keep the version I have from last year, as the trails don't significantly update that often. I think they do updates based on trail data sent back to them by other customers, so it should be fairly accurate. It may be possible to create a navigation map from point to point, but I have never tried doing that.

Thor, I didn't mention when I ordered of website, thought I made a mistake and called number and WALA he even answered phone on LABOR DAY.
you can download or he will mail you sdcard for $40. No tax or shipping, he's got my business.
It's hard to find anyone that gives great service like that.

And here I thought rockmeister was the only business owner that worked on Labor Day
