In my ignorance, and my grease guns pull strength, I have pulled off both zerqs on the lower front arm. Any recommendations outside of pulling the skid and changing the castings?

On the lower front arm bracket I grinded a 1/4" nut on oppesite sides to actualy fit in between the steel plates and BRAZED them in and fitted a threaded ZERT on my '05 and worked fine...
You can try to RE-THREAD/TAP the existing hole in other locations and use a treaded zert to match tap size and shim it with washers so it dosen't protrude to far in and rub on bushing or shaft, on my '05 I BRAZED 1/4" nuts and then fitted a matching threaded zert and voila! works great! after everything is done just re paint and looks factory and if you ever break a zert just un-screw it and replace it.
P.S. if you go the BRAZED way you must remove the suspension and take it all apart...the torch heat will MELT the plastic bushings, make sure to use a SMALL BRAZING torch, the bigger style outputs to much heat and make s it harder to properly braze, you don't need a ton of heat.
