In my ignorance, and my grease guns pull strength, I have pulled off both zerqs on the lower front arm. Any recommendations outside of pulling the skid and changing the castings?

On the lower front arm bracket I grinded a 1/4" nut on oppesite sides to actualy fit in between the steel plates and BRAZED them in and fitted a threaded ZERT on my '05 and worked fine...

You can try to RE-THREAD/TAP the existing hole in other locations and use a treaded zert to match tap size and shim it with washers so it dosen't protrude to far in and rub on bushing or shaft, on my '05 I BRAZED 1/4" nuts and then fitted a matching threaded zert and voila! works great! after everything is done just re paint and looks factory and if you ever break a zert just un-screw it and replace it. ;)!

P.S. if you go the BRAZED way you must remove the suspension and take it all apart...the torch heat will MELT the plastic bushings, make sure to use a SMALL BRAZING torch, the bigger style outputs to much heat and make s it harder to properly braze, you don't need a ton of heat.
