Just talked to an old friend I used to work for in high school. He is opening up what used to be CW citgo, just north of Houlton Maine, on route 1 north, and Its 83 and Its 86 connect. Even better than before, it will be a card pump, so if your riding late, you wont have to drive clear down into Houlton for gas. This has been a staple gas station for sledders headed north and west for years and it is great to have it back. New owners are great people. Gordon and Crystal Hagerman.
If you think of it, make a point of buying gas there on your way up through or stop by with a sled. He is as local as it gets, his brother even lives across the road. Lets help keep him in business.

Too many gas stations going out last few years in UP Michigan. Glad to see someone taking over the one in Maine

My father in law lives on Ross Ridge rd.in Littleton. I could walk to the Pit stop. I remember seeing the groomers parked there. I will certainly buy my diesel and gas for the sleds and Atvs from them for sure. When in the area we do spend quite a bit on fuel so I will gladly support a family business .

We needed that wet 4" so this should set up perfectly.I'm going to be up Thursday for a week.I can't wait ,picking up my brand-new 14 XTX in caribou from John at Gary's Yamaha.

Also, guys, going through on saturday morning, Medusnekeg ramblers have a breakfast buffet at the club house on 86 or just two miles off route 1 in littleton. Great meal and they keep the trails great in that area.
