03 660 grizzly get a strange rattle when letting off throttle worse when hot and on rough trails seems to go away when i get back on throttle.when cold it doesn't seem to do it?

i just bought a 2003 grizzly the clutch was making a terrible noise the oneway bearing on the primary clutch was in peices sombody kept riding it and it broke the a peice of the crankshaft off so you might check that bearing they are about 80 dollors

Check to make sure you have enough grease in for your weights also.
While it's always hard to diagnose noises from text descriptions, I do have a clank or rattle of both of my machines that happens under the same conditions as described in the original post.
I've been told and have pretty much decided that it's normal.
The issue described by dogkiller obviously is not. You'll need to pull the CVT cover to check out that one and while you've got it off it's a good time to regrease the weights.
