GT on order, but rode attack today????????????

That is one thing I miss about the SRX. The cornering. Maybe I need to find another one for those curvy days.

thats one thing we give up with all the new sleds it seems is that slot car feel of the older sleds tho only because they sat so much lower...but the new sleds have the bump and big stutter bump capability now! also I think there are improovements that can be made even to an 03- 05 sled to make them handle great in the turns ...like 44-45 wide front end kits and 12-13mm sway bars, straight rate springs, shocks, block risers, aftermarket skis (to fit the type of riding that you do)etc. etc.... also some rear suspension adjustments can help in cornering.

I have a gt on order. But today i old forge I rode an attack and was impressed. I rode an apex er and attackover the same course, on ice with some bumps and all 3 in my group felt the attack was better. I have to decide quick, I loved the attack ride, but love the gt looks and shocks. I dont want a pushing sled and do want to keep weight down as much as possible. I drove an 02 venture alot in 02 when my sled was down and the 136 does brige bumps better. Man I wish they made a attack gt in black. help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!

To bad you cant change it to the rtx instead of the gt as the gt is for groomed trails only,the ohlins shock has been valved for smooth trails,and even changing to the next stiffer spring does nothing to keep the shock from exsploading under exstreem riding,but the gt does handle much better than the attak plus it rides better too,how do i know this,i had the 06 attak,06 gt and 06 rtx last year,and i changed out my skid and track with mattzx6 and the differance as the apexer was nothing short of a merical,the attak pushed all over the place and rode like crap too,but its your call,good luck..

Anyone notice this post is about 1.5 years old? And he was talking about 06 sleds, not 07's.

I noticed it up on top of the post board and thought, hey thats my post from a year and half ago. I did buy the 06 gt and liked it except for the soft rear end. I had my shock blown over winter and replaced. I recently got the shock back from pioneer performance and they revalved it to more of my specs! I think if I was ordering today I would get the attack gt though, the longer track does ride better. But I like the rear end in the 07 rtx also.............
