So according to most everybody here gutting it is cool but you will need to rejet it. how does a person know how much to rejet. im not stupid just a little slow i guess. i put pipes on my truck and never had to rejet.

Your truck is prob. fuel injected and self compensating.
If it is not, it still may have leaned it a little but you may not notice it.
Hopefully true EFI (cloosed loop) will come to the RX1 soon.

You don't have to rejet with the aftermarket cans and they should flow more air then a gutted stock can will.

HEY GUYS i have my brand new can from the rx1 i will sell for 100$ us
im running a whiteknuckle gp1 with my trubo so i will never need the stock one.. so if some of you that want to cut up a can this would be perfect for yeah ... and keep yours stock ... let me know

I just came back from the UP, and I have the middle of mine open and I was worried that it was going to run lean. No problems at all, if anything still a little fat. it was real warm, should run perfect when real cold. By the way it was real cold the first day I was there, 10 deg in KI Saywer Christmas day and it run perfect! :wink:
