Looking at buying GYTR exhaust for an xtx. Any reason I couldn't put it on for break in?

I was thinking of the same thing for my new XTX, but was concerned about the break-in period. Dealer is giving me discount on accessories so it would make it that much more cheaper. It's no Excell or Hindle pipe, but sure seems to have a nice sound. Being a GYTR Yamaha product, I had the concern about aftermarket stuff voiding my extended warranty. This solves that concern....I think.

You do realize that the GYTR muffler is a Skinz muffler right..Yamaha doesn't make it.

Yes....I like the sound of the Ultra Q. Couldn't find a sound bite for the Super Q online. Anyone know where one is posted to listen to? Suppose to be even louder than the Ultra Q.
However, I was thinking since I got it from my dealer and that it had the GYTR stamped on the bottom of it that I wouldn't be hassled about voiding the warranty. Am I wrong?? Anyone??
May not get it now....discount price wasn't as sweet as I was lead to believe. I was thinking for under a couple hundred bucks, I could get a crisp sounding slip on pipe. Still cheaper than the performance exhaust which I ultimate would like to get someday. Maybe after the warranty expires. Just nervous about voiding the YES warranty.

I really don't think you're dealer will void the warranty, but from what guys say it's not stamped with GYTR..even though it shows it like that in the catalog...just ask your dealer if they will void it if you install one.

I am putting a turbo on my xtx with 0 miles on. I spoke with Allen of Ulmer Racing and said their is no worries. Also Dave with Hurricane performance assured me that their is no problem with this or any other mods because of the coating the cylinder walls. So I think if its good to go with a turbo just an exhaust should be no bother at all. I also will be having a tunnel dump exhaust as well, but the turbo being a front mount gets rid of the stock header and will run into the stock muffler until I get it back hopefully this weekend and put the tunnel dump exhaust on. Hope this helps! Ulmer racing is well known and Dave who owns hurricane performance has built many motors for high performance apps so I would take both of their advice to the grave

So there should be no warranty issues? This gytr pipe is stamped in the picture, but comes not stamped? Do we have any sound clips of this pipe? Thanks guys!!

sounds clips on you tube. Search Ultra Q, there is a decent one with a dude on an XTX. That will give you and idea.
