Had to tap my Magnesium chain case.

I'd locktite it or throw it all together. The RX1 parking brake doesn't work for sh$t anyway. When I trailer my sled, I just pull the brake lever and wedge a 1/4" bolt in there. The bolt threads hold it in place and I've never had it budge. My e-brake cost 6 cents at Aubachon Hardware!!

I dont know what was wrong with your parking brake but both of my rx-1 parking brakes work awesome!

Is the Magnesium case from an Apex? If so the brakes are different. You would need to convert the disc and cailpers.

Nope from a 05 RX1, another feature that year to lighten it up.
