Hey guys. I spent about 5 or 6 hours on the sled Sunday with minimal rest. I will say it seemed to me the throttle flipper was oriented rather high - I think the last owner moved it to be more behind the broken hand guard, so that maybe caused my wrist to be in a somewhat awkward position (I've since rotated it downwards some). Most of the time I was sitting, and didn't change up my position a lot.

I'm finding now, 4 days later even, I've got significant weakness in that hand, and with certain movements a lot of weakness mostly in my index and pinky finger. Anyone else have this problem before? Suggestions?

I have my flipper almost pointing down towards my feet.. but my hands hurt occasionally, cuz my nytro pulls so damn hard!!!! woot woot!!!:yam::4STroke:

Hey Jamieren don't take this the wrong way but your not going to get any sympathy from a lot of us right now, were looking at 40's for the next ten days in Midwest, Da U.P. In all seriousness I have mine pointing down too!;)!

Oh, I gotta travel to see snow. Here there's only 2 - 3" of snow but I don't care, sliders be damned! I'm going sleddin'.

So, you're saying its probably not serious then eh twistgrip?

I hope your hands hurt! No sympathy here!! Can't wait to cramp mine. Just sayin

Sore hands and strained forearms are a common complaint with the 1049 triple. I'm jealous. :):4STroke::yam:

Seriously though I usually get a little bit of throttle thumb or hand soreness my first few rides of the year. It was a lot worse with the old 2 strokes triples though. It was harder pulling 3 carbs open.

Not to mention vibration through the bars in the 2strokes
